This game can be played in the traditional way with everyone in a circle but if space is limited it can be done by standing in place patting the rhythm on your knees, or jumping up and down for the first verse and dropping down on knees and elbows in the second verse.

The cows are lost. Look for cows and drop down on one knee.
The sun is hot. Wipe brow and drop onto both knees.
I’ll think I’ll rest. Put head on one elbow on the floor.
Till they come home. Put two elbows down and pretend to sleep.
