Act out the words and pretend to be very cold. Ask for suggestions for things you could wrap yourself up in to keep warm. Ken played each note by blowing over the top of water filled bottles.
The cold winds are blowing they’re howling round my door.
I’m freezing, I’m sneezing,
Hear the north winds roar.
My head’s cold, my back’s cold my knees are shaking too.
My hands are cold, my toes are cold,
I don’t know what to do.
I’ll wrap myself in a blanket, and I won’t go out in the storm,
I’ll sit by the fireside,
Till I feel nice and warm.
